LI EDGE MIDGET MINORS VICTORIOUS IN LIAHL FINALS – yes both teams !

THAT MAKES 3 LIAHL FINALS Championships for the LI EDGE !!!!

Sunday\’s LIAHL Midget Minor finals included back to back appearances from our Midget Milner (2001) and Midget 16 U (2000) Teams.

In the First game the EDGE defeated a tough GNY team 5-3 to win their trophy.

The EDGE 16 U team also defeated a talented GNY 16 U team 3-1 in a shortened contest.

Our Peewee major team also won an LIAHL Championship.

Previusly the  16 U team had defeated the Rebels 4-2 in the semis to gain their spot in the finals, The Milner team beat the Rebels Milner Team 5-2 Friday night in their semi final match.

Both teams had excellent seasons, finishing in First place in their divisions, with the 2000 Team going undefeated.

The 16U team will continue play in the  NY State Tournament as the first seed form the Eastern Zone.
